Orientation Program for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
An orientation program for the 1st-year students of the Department of Public Finance, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Afyon Kocatepe University, was held on Monday, September 29 at 13:00. The meeting was attended by the Head of Department Prof. Dr. İhsan Cemil Demir, 1st-year advisor Research Assistant İshak Altunışık, Assist. Prof. Dr. Pınar Bengi Kaya, Assist. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karakuş Büyükben, Assist. Prof. Dr. Merve Malak, and Research Assist. Dr. Senem Koç Arslan.
During the meeting, students were informed and provided feedback on the following topics:

Following this, university counseling services were introduced in detail by our psychologists, Mr. Şeref Sezen and Ms. Hatice Keskin, from the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports (SKS). Additionally, Afyonkarahisar Provincial Police Department provided students with information about the “UYUMA” application.
Information was also given regarding the establishment of a departmental WhatsApp group and how students could join it. Questions from students about the Student Information System (OBS) and cafeteria services were answered.
Finally, students were informed about the activities and operations of the Finance Club, which operates within our department.
