The training seminar titled “MASAK and Compliance Processes” was held under the moderation of Prof. Dr. İsa Sağbaş, a faculty member of our University. The event attracted significant interest from certified public accountants, professional practitioners, and public officials.
The opening speech of the seminar was delivered by Erdal Sayar, President of the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Certified Public Accountants. In his address, Sayar emphasized the increasing responsibilities of professionals in the fields of compliance, auditing, and combating financial crimes, highlighting the necessity of continuously updating professional knowledge.
As the main trainer, Haluk Özyürek, Head of the Konya Audit Department, provided comprehensive information on MASAK legislation, suspicious transaction reporting, and supervised analysis processes conducted within the scope of the KURGAN system. In addition, Volkan Kalfaoğlu, Deputy Head of the Konya Audit Department, delivered a presentation on the use of artificial intelligence and digital analysis tools in tax audits.
At the end of the seminar, plaques were presented to the contributing trainers, and the event was concluded successfully with active participation through questions and discussions.
