The “Alumni Reunion” event, organized through the collaboration of the Department of Public Finance and the Public Finance Club, was held with the participation of Bora Binbaş, a businessperson and a 1998 graduate of our department.
The talk, moderated by Assoc. Prof. İsmail Ciğerci, was attended by our Faculty Vice Dean Dr. Ali Balkı, our Deputy Heads of Department Dr. Pınar Bengi Kaya and Dr. Neslihan Karakuş, as well as our academic staff members Dr. Senem Koç Arslan and Research Assistant İshak Altunışık.
During the event, Bora Binbaş shared his career journey from graduation to the present, offering insights into his experiences in the private sector. Reflecting on the advantages and challenges of working in the private sector, Binbaş emphasized the importance of developing foreign language skills, highlighting their critical role in shaping students’ future careers.
