- Finance Department Students Explained Taxation to Primary and High School Students
Our second-year Finance Department students have conducted presentations to raise tax awareness as part of the “Volunteering Activities” course, taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Merve Malak, at Atatürk Primary School, Ahmet Ömer Kocaşaban Primary School, Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Primary School, Afyon Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Toki Social Sciences High School, and Şehit Yunus Çiçek Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. During these visits to various primary and secondary schools, our students explained fundamental topics such as the definition of tax, its purpose, and public services in a manner suitable and understandable for the age groups of the students. After the presentations, they answered questions from the students and emphasized the importance of tax as a civic duty for social life.
